In a hurry? Here are the best products at a glance.
If you have a yard, you’ll need a broadcast spreader to help spread weed, feed, and other things on your lawn. We were curious to see what some of the best fertilizer spreaders in the biz looked like, so we decided to do a little researching and reviewing. And what a group of spreaders we found! We chose our top ten and compiled all of their stats and information into short, comprehensive reviews. Here is a breakdown of some of the specs we used to describe each of our favs:
Type: Is this broadcast spreader a Walk-Behind model, a Tow-Behind model, or a Handheld version? We’ll let you know under this icon.
Capacity: How much seed, fertilizer, or other product can the broadcaster hold? We’ll give you an idea of the capacity in pounds.
Spreader Width: How wide is the spreader? This will let you know how much area you can cover with each pass. We’ll let you know in inches.
Coverage: How much area does the spreader actually cover? We’ll let you know how wide the spreader will actually spread the seeds around.
Weight: If you plan to transport and store your broadcast spreader, make sure to compare weights. Lighter is usually better.
Dimensions: Have very little space and want to make sure the spreader will fit in your garage? We’ll list the dimensions for you, in inches.
Now that we have all that out of the way, let’s get to those reviews. Now, we loved all ten of these spreaders, but there were two of them that really stood out from the pack. These will be our first and second spreaders on the list. The first is our Top Pick, which was our overall fav. The second is the Budget Pick, which was our favorite of all of the low-cost options. If you are in a hurry, be sure to check those two out first. Now, let’s get to those best lawn fertilizer reviews!
